Jättelik IKEA colouring paper roll
Jättelik - colouring paper roll. I sketched it up 1:1 on the backside of a already existing paper roll in the right size. From this original sketch we discussed the details with the team at IKEA. It was a lot of researching the dinosaurs and some of the landscapes they inhabited, I wanted the illustrations to feel playful but realistic. It is a repeating pattern seamlessly continuing without start or end.
Its hard to understand that they where the kings and queens of this planet for such a long time period. In comparison, humans have been around for about 200 000 years, Dinosaurs and the likes for more than 200 million years.
